Pro audio manufacturer Flock Audio has flown the coop from its roots in Canada and landed its HQ in Fort Worth.

Best known for its PATCH System Series—a digitally controlled, 100% analog patch bay routing solution for professional audio environments—Flock was previously based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

Founded in 2017, the company said it moved to North Texas “in response to several years of successful innovation and business growth” that has seen the small, family-owned manufacturer become “an industry standard in the world of analog routing technology.”

“Flock has grown tremendously as a business within the past few years and the desire to be closer to our largest customer base and industry partners has led us to embark on this next phase of the company’s growth in the United States,” Flock Audio Founder and CEO Darren Nakonechny said in a statement. “We’re very proud to join the legacy of pro audio products designed and built in the United States and look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with other designers and manufacturers based here on our next generation of products.”

Flock’s new 5,000-square-foot facility in Fort Worth features updated workspaces, improved testing areas, and a full audio production suite. All of that has enabled Flock to double its production and servicing capacity, as well as provide increased space and resources for its growing product R&D division, the company said.

Flock said its new location also enables a more direct connection to its American customers, dealers, and manufacturer partners. To serve the latter, the company recently launched a special projects division to explore “new applications” for its innovations in digitally controlled analog routing technology.
