The expansion of GE on Wing Support’s existing 84,344-square-foot facility by 3.25-acres has the potential to add 100 high-quality jobs and generate $50 million in capital investment by 2027.

Fort Worth Leads in Aerospace & Defense

Fort Worth is a leading aerospace and defense hub in North America, home to over 17,000 workers and key players like Bell and Lockheed Martin. The region employs 23,232 people in the industry, with an average wage exceeding $100,000. The region’s aerospace sector includes aircraft manufacturing, missiles, drones, unmanned aircraft, and space vehicles, demonstrating its diversity and depth.

Texas ranks second in the number of aerospace establishments and sixth in aerospace industry revenue in the United States, underscoring the state’s and Fort Worth’s pivotal role in this sector.
