Fort Worth’s west side is gaining momentum as a burgeoning financial district. On Wednesday, Crescent Real Estate LLC broke ground on a new office building “Crescent Offices West”—a 170,000-square-foot Class A office building that will include a fitness center and two restaurants, according to Bloomberg. The new building will open in 2027 and be anchored by JPMorgan Chase, which will occupy three floors and bring approximately 300 employees—doubling the headcount of JPMorgan’s current Fort Worth presence.

Backed by Fort Worth-based investor and Fort Worth EDP board member, John Goff, the project represents the next chapter of the Crescent mixed-use development—”[t]he momentum of Crescent and Fort Worth continues,” said Goff, who highlighted his long-time vision for the growing development alongside Fort Worth’s established fine arts district.

Crescent Offices West is in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, which is home to five internationally recognized museums, including the Kimbell Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum of Art, The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth’s Museum of Science & History, and the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame. The Crescent development adds to the Cultural District’s unique appeal, which currently boats the only painting by Michelangelo in the Western Hemisphere at the Kimbell and hosts the longest running stock show and rodeo in the U.S. at Dickies Arena.

The project further solidifies Fort Worth’s standing as a hub for financial services and corporate growth. “A Fort Worth financial district is forming on downtown’s west side, and JPMorgan Chase is proud to be a major part of this signature development,” said Elaine Agather, Fort Worth-based CEO of the J.P.Morgan Private Bank in the Central U.S. and Fort Worth EDP board member.

The groundbreaking event included remarks from Crescent’s John Goff and Christopher Goff, Elaine Agather, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, and Robert Allen, President & CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership.

As each of the speakers emphasized, Crescent Offices West adds to the growing list of major investments shaping Fort Worth’s future and represents institutional confidence in the city’s long-term trajectory.
